Another day, yet another hate crime hoax has been exposed.

Earlier this month, liberal journalist Juan Thompson was arrested for making a series of bomb threats to Jewish schools, centers, and a museum to supposedly intimidate a former girlfriend.
And now, just yesterday, after a months-long undercover anti-fraud investigation, Israeli police have arrested a 19-year-old Israeli with dual Israel/American citizenship for allegedly making over 100 bomb threats on U.S. Jewish institutions.
According to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency (JTA), Israel’s anti-fraud squad arrested the suspect at his southern Israel home on Thursday. Reports in Israel say the suspect is also accused of making similar threats in the last six months in Australia, Europe, and New Zealand in addition to calling in threats regarding Israeli educational institutions to Israeli Police.
During the arrest, the suspect reportedly tried to take a policewoman’s gun and shoot himself with it.
His motives are as yet unknown, but the suspect’s attorney has raised concerns about his mental status and asked that he be placed under supervision. Ynet has reported that the attorney said the teenager has a brain tumor since the age of 14 that affects his behavior.
According to the Times of Israel, the threats to over 100 Jewish Community Centers and even one to Delta Airlines which led to the emergency landing of a plane, were made using “advanced technology and voice-altering equipment” which were found during the cyber unit’s Thursday raid.
The teen’s father has also been detained on allegations that he knew about his son’s criminal activity.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions said in a statement: “The Department of Justice is committed to protecting the civil rights of all Americans, and we will not tolerate the targeting of any community in this country on the basis of their religious beliefs. I commend the FBI and Israeli National Police for their outstanding work on this case.”
The FBI was investigating these threats as a hate crime, and the Simon Wiesenthal Center demanded action on “the multipronged threats of anti-Semitism today.” Liberals were even trying to blame President Trump.
But the rest of us were just waiting until police found the hoaxer responsible and brought him to justice.
