Reporter’s question supporting Obamacare proves exactly why you don’t mess with Spicer

White House press secretary Sean Spicer demonstrated the lunacy of a “one size fits all” health insurance policy, such as the one mandated by the Affordable Care Act.

“A lot of people buy insurance not knowing what they’re going to need,” RealClearPolitics White House correspondent Alexis Simendinger observed, while discussing the Republican proposal to repeal and replace Obamacare.

“Well, I think if you’re an older man, you can generally say that you’re not going to need maternity care,” Spicer replied.

The Obamacare repeal and replace failed to get the votes necessary to pass in the House Thursday. But GOP House leaders and President Donald Trump are continuing to try to sway conservative House Freedom Caucus members to come onboard.
