Sofia Vergara puts ex Nick Loeb in hot seat because he slammed her for speaking Spanish around friends

Actress Sofia Vergara has taken out the knives in her ugly split from former fiance, Nick Loeb.

In the latest salvo, Vergara accuses Loeb (an entrepreneur whom she dated from 2010 to 2014) of calling her rude and “classless” for constantly speaking Spanish around him when she knows he doesn’t speak the language.

The allegations come from paperwork Vergara filed with a Florida court, citing a letter Loeb allegedly wrote in 2014 urging Vergara to be more inclusive, the Daily Beast reported:

I like spending time with you out at night much more than any of my friends. What I do not like, and what I will not put up with anymore, is the Spanish … I do not like hanging out with you when you speak in Spanish with others at the table or out with us.”

I am surprised that you think it’s ok. Not only is it rude and disrespectful, it is classless. And for you to then berate, embarrass, and humiliate me in front of others when I ask you to stop is not happening anymore.

Vergara apparently filed the letter as a way to paint Loeb as a jerk. The allegations are part of a bitter legal war the former lovebirds are waging over the fate of two frozen embryos Loeb and the Colombian bombshell created in 2013, in anticipation of having children.

Who gets custody of frozen embryos?

Loeb and Vergara broke up in 2014. In 2015, Loeb filed a “right to live” lawsuit, seeking full custody of the frozen embryos (whom he named Emma and Isabella) so he can bring them to term.

Vergara, who has since married actor Joe Manganiello, wants to keep the embryos “frozen indefinitely.”

In a New York Times op-ed, Loeb said keeping the embryos in a cryogenic limbo is “tantamount to killing them.” The lawsuit raises a variety of landmark legal questions.
