MSNBC and Rachel Maddow teased the reveal of President Donald Trump’s tax returns.
But when the show started at 9 p.m. EST the MSNBC host made people continue to wait.
Maddow talked for about 12 minutes in what appeared to be a thinly veiled move to milk the spotlight and keep the audience in anticipation.
And social media was not happy about it.

Timeline is full of sudden realization that Maddow’s show is unwatchable

In fairness how many people watched it before her Tuesday show?
Rachel Maddow making us wait until after the commercial break to hear what’s in Trump’s tax returns. SO MUCH BUILD UP! THIS BETTER BE GOOD!

But it wasn’t. That’s what had to make it even more frustrating for haters of the president.
Maddow now is like when you’re in trouble & your mom says “just wait ’til I get your daddy!” & you’re sitting in the room biting your teeth.

Rachel Maddow is gonna wait till the final commercial break to give us the big reveal like a network TV drama series.

More than a million people have signed a petition demanding that Rachel Maddow release Trump’s tax returns
