Trump’s Sec of the Interior isn’t just a fmr SEAL who rides to work on a horse, check the sense of humor!

If you thought secretaries of the interior were boring — think again.

Meet former Congressman Ryan Zinke, President Donald Trump’s choice to head the Department of the Interior. Not only is he badass, but he has a well-honed sense of humor to match.

Before Zinke was elected to Congress, he served as a commander in the U.S. Navy’s elite special forces unit — the SEALs, where he was referred to as “Z-Man.”

His military service saw him commanding the team that rescued “Lone Survivor” Marcus Lutrell and which fellow SEAL Robert O’Neill killed then-al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden.

And when Somali pirates hijacked the U.S. merchant ship Maersk Alabama in the Indian Ocean, it was his team that rescued the ship’s master, Captain Richard Phillips.

In this clip, political comedian Tim Young meets Zinke to get some tongue-in-cheek pointers on what it takes to become a SEAL, including clothing choice and knife selection.

“Which one of these is the ‘repeal Obamacare?'” Young asks Zinke, referring to the large selection of knives. “And which one of these would be the ‘I don’t like that name at the post office?'”

The pair also discussed Interior Design and Ninja Moves before the moment came when Young claimed Zinke almost killed him, according to his Facebook post.

Watch the fun.

This took place when Zinke was still a congressman from Montana. His first day at work as Interior secretary was just as memorable. He arrived at work on a horse, and thankfully, the press was on hand to record it.

Americans generally remember the names of their secretary of state and attorney general. Now for the first time everyone will know — and love — the name Ryan Zinke as our secretary of the interior.
