With that statement, President Trump body-slammed obstructionist Democrats who sat stone-faced during his address as wild applause rained down around them.
Trump’s first joint address to Congress was widely hailed as one of his best speeches, and one that cemented him as a leader who will fight for America and not back down from any opponent — foreign or domestic.
Trump outlined his ambitious plans to restore American exceptionalism, boost the economy through job creation, enhance national security and ensure peace through strength by building up the military.

Even longtime anti-Trumpers like Senator John McCain gave the president numerous standing ovations during his speech.
Twitter reacted to Democratic lawmakers’ pathetic display of faux indifference by saying Trump allowed the Democrats to “humiliate themselves.”

A new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll showed that 43% of Americans have a positive view of Trump, while only 30% had a positive view of Democrats.
Dem leaders Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer scored even lower for their obstructionist antics.
