Brit Hume slaps Never-Trumper Bill Kristol with killer answer for his insulting question to Trump supporters

It’s a rare occasion when Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume chimes in from the peanut gallery, but when he does Hume delivers a clarity that few can match.

Weekly Standard’s Bill Kristol, an avid Never-Trumper, posted a rather sanctimonious question on Twitter asking conservatives who are “rationalizing” Trump’s presidency if they know they are wrong.

Hume replied to Kristol’s query by effecting noting that for Trump supporters, actions speak louder than words.

The response prompted ABC News’ chief political analyst Matthew Dowd to pipe in, speaking of “values” as he asked if “words matter?”
