Brian Kilmeade had a message for President Trump that made perfect sense . . . if you are familiar with pop culture from 2009.
The host, who was filling in for Jeanine Pirro on Fox News’ “Justice with Judge Jeanine,” said the president has successfully taken control of the narrative over the past few days and has shown that he thrives when the pressure is on.
But that won’t bring the media to his side.
Kilmeade used the 2009 movie “He’s Just Not That Into You” to explain his point. The plot was based on women that didn’t understand why certain men didn’t want to be with them, as an example of the media’s relationship with president Trump.
“The press most of all, most of Washington, most of New York City, most of Los Angeles is just not into you so don’t try to win them over,” he said. “Be the best (President) Donald Trump you can be. Reward your followers and try to win over independents.”
He advised the president to ignore the mainstream media and focus on his agenda.
If he does that, Kilmeade said, he will “coast to” victory in 2020.
