Activists tied to President Obama reveal training manual for bullying Republicans at townhalls

The Obama-linked group Organizing For Action is gearing up to go after Republicans this week when they have their town halls back home.

The activist group, which is featured on former President Obama’s website, even has a training manual that teaches agitators how to bully GOP lawmakers.

The group, that used to be known as Obama For America when it campaigned for the then president’s second term, wrote its manual on Facebook this week advising its dissidents to mobilize against GOP lawmakers, the New York Post reported.

The manual, published with OFA partner “Indivisible,” advises protesters to go into halls quietly so as not to raise alarms, and “grab seats at the front of the room but do not all sit together.” Rather, spread out in pairs to make it seem like the whole room opposes the Republican host’s positions. “This will help reinforce the impression of broad consensus.” It also urges them to ask “hostile” questions — while keeping “a firm hold on the mic” — and loudly boo the GOP politician if he isn’t “giving you real answers.”

“Express your concern [to the event’s hosts] they are giving a platform to pro-Trump authoritarianism, racism, and corruption,” it says.

The goal is to instill fear into Republican lawmakers to get them to back off of their support for President Donald Trump’s agenda and to begin the push to help Democrats take back Congress in 2018. A feat that even Democrat Chicago Mayor, and former White House Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel said is unlikely.

“Even the safest [Republican] will be deeply alarmed by signs of organized opposition,” it reads, “because these actions create the impression that they’re not connected to their district and not listening to their constituents.”

“Creates the impression” even when not factual, because the group doesn’t care about what is accurate. It’s only concern is power.

The group even details how it uses the mainstream media to push its propaganda.

“Unfavorable exchanges caught on video can be devastating” for the GOP politicians when they are “shared through social media and picked up by local and national media.”

As an angry crowd did to Utah Rep. Jason Chaffetz, when he held a town hall even weeks ago.

According to a recent report, the group linked to President Obama has been involved in many of the protests and riots against President Trump that have been occurring since his election.
