Bikers for Trump founder arrives in D.C., announces event lineup, then draws the line for protesters

He has no intention of wading into anti-Trump protesters to deliver a beat down, but the organizer of Bikers For Trump says they won’t shy away from trouble, either. So, disruptors better watch their backs.

Earlier this month Chris Cox, founder of Bikers for Trump, said that during the upcoming presidential inauguration his 200,000-member group will form a “wall of meat” to protect citizens from dangerous anarchists who are expected to be out protesting Trump’s oath of office ceremony.

“We will stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our brothers, and toe-to-toe with anyone that’s going to be breaking down police barriers, assaulting women, spitting on them or throwing things,” Cox told Fox News.

But as inauguration day nears, Cox is clarifying that he and his biker pals have no intention of going out looking for trouble. Bikers for Trump won’t be wandering around looking to attack anti-Trump forces. But they won’t punk out if trouble arises, either.

Cox notes that he and his group have put together the first ever “half-time inauguration show.”  But he also addressed the “controversy” arising from his past comments about protesters.

“Hollywood would have you believe that we’re outlaw renegades, that’s just not the case. These are guys that have a lot to lose, but the one thing they’re not going to lose is the patriotic nature of the bikers,” Cox said in a new video from Washington D.C. promoted by TMZ.com.

Still, Cox had a warning for protesters who might want to mess with them: “In the event that they’re forced to, I’m sure that they will stand strong. But we’re hoping for a peaceful transition.”

Here is another quick interview with Mr. Cox who told CBCNews that he and his group love Donald Trump for his efforts to defeat political correctness.

And many of the bikers who are joining Cox in D.C. have already noted how eager they are to participate.
