You couldn’t get a more appropriately named band to play at Trump’s inauguration – and they’re not afraid!

Country music mega act Big & Rich is not afraid of the backlash other acts have got for even considering performing at President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration.

Unlike many celebrities who cowered in fear and declined to be involved with Trump’s inauguration, the band said it is “thrilled” to be performing at the gala hosted by the Republican Party of New York and Great Alliance America on Jan. 19.

“We’re thrilled to be performing in our nation’s capital during this historic moment in time,” band member John Rich told the Washington Examiner.

“A presidential inauguration is a uniquely American event, so we are honored to be a part of it and hope to help make it a memorable event,” he said.

Rich is friendly with the president-elect since he won the 11th season of the Trump hosted “Celebrity Apprentice.”

And during several interviews after Trump announced that he was running for president Rich made it known that he is a fan of Trump and his children.

Rich is widely known as a committed Republican.
