Incredible footage! 2-year old miraculously moves dresser to save crushed twin brother

In a scene that leaves viewers wondering whether a higher power intervened, a 2-year-old boy is captured saving his twin brother after a dresser fell on him.

The video has gone viral since being posted Sunday by a Utah dad, Ricky Shoff, who is looking to draw awareness to the importance of securely attaching dressers and similar type furniture to the wall.

“I’ve been a little hesitant to post this. But I feel it’s not only to bring awareness, but it’s also incredible,” Shoff wrote on Facebook. “We are so grateful for the bond that these twin brothers share.”

The boys, Brock and Bowdy, can be seen opening dresser drawers and trying to climb up on the unit when it suddenly tipped over, falling on Brock and trapping him underneath — and that’s when Bowdy incredibly sprang into action (after a nailbiting pause):

As for a higher power, the dad does not need to be convinced.

“We know Bowdy was not alone in moving the dresser off of Brock,” Shoff said. “And feel blessed that he is okay. Please make sure all your dressers are bolted and secured to the wall.”

And while the boys appeared to escape serious energy, the incident serves to underscore how important safety is.
