Elle mag calls Ivanka Trump dangerous to women in an absolutely head-scratching article

Remember when liberals were all about women’s empowerment, triumph and breaking glass ceilings?

Apparently, that only applies to the women that agree with them and not successful conservatives like Ivanka Trump.

Bill O’Reilly: The Left wants white power taken away from establishment for a profound change in America

In a recent article in “Elle,” author Sady Doyle charged that Ivanka Trump will distract from, not fix, women’s issues because she is too much like a “Disney princess.”

In fact, Doyle warned that all of Trump’s “terrifying yet well-coiffed children” are bringing Americans “closer to living in a monarchy than we have been since 1776.”

But Ivanka may be the most dangerous of all because she is “blond, pretty, well-mannered, (and) given massive amounts of power over the citizenry thanks to nothing but her genetic makeup.”

Sounds a lot like Chelsea Clinton.

And it isn’t just the fact that she is President-elect Donald Trump’s daughter that irks Doyle.

Like former President Bill Clinton and the brain trust at MTV News this week, it’s that whole “white” thing that ruffles her feathers.

Bill Clinton’s ‘angry white male’ slander drew plenty of fire, but Ann Coulter’s response won the internet

“No matter what her title is, Ivanka’s essential role remains the same: to integrate a very specific vision of exceptionalist white womanhood into the Trump brand and presidency,” Doyle wrote.

Liberals really still have no idea why they lost this election.

The author then upped the ante by asserting that all women are victims and Ivanka’s portrayal of success hurts the fabric of that argument.

“Exceptional Women don’t exist in real life,” Doyle wrote. “No one is unaffected by sexism; no woman, no matter how well-behaved, is ever safe. But some women, by dint of privilege and good luck, are fairly convincing avatars. This year’s Exceptional Woman is Ivanka Trump, and she’s such a convincing Exceptional Woman that she’s helped make a self-confessed sexual predator who ran the most openly misogynist presidential campaign in modern history palatable to a large number of Americans.”

Doyle’s dystopian image of the future for American women is beyond dramatic and rather laughable.

“Ivanka is the Disney princess; we’re the peasant chorus members who watch, and serve, and sigh at her pretty hair,” she said. “Hell, maybe we’ll even pitch in some background vocals on a few of the big musical numbers. Peasants always do, in those movies, even though they’re probably all starving.”

Kind of tough to starve when jobs are coming back to the nation and the stock market is soaring like never before. But hey, don’t let that stand in the way of your agenda.
