Left wing loons who cannot accept the results of a democratic election have slammed Pennsylvania’s Electoral College voters with so many calls and emails that they are being given police protection.
The Republican electors from the Keystone State have been inundated with harassment and protests have been organized to greet the contingent when they arrive to cast their votes for Donald Trump and Mike Pence on Monday, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported.
That’s why, according to elector Ash Khare, they’ve each been assigned a plainclothes state trooper for their protection.
“I’m a big boy,” he said. “But this is stupid. Nobody is standing up and telling these people, ‘Enough, knock it off.'”
No Pennsylvania elector has indicated any willingness to change his or her vote.
“I take my job as an elector very seriously, and in Pennsylvania, Donald Trump won,” elector Mary Barket told the Post-Gazette. “So any argument thereafter, especially about the nature of him being a president, is not going to have an effect on me.”
But there is no doubt that the whiners, who blame everything from Russia to FBI Director James Comey for their candidate’s defeat, will continue their assault until the electors have voted.
