‘Cry baby’ LeBron James needs his blankie? NBA star mocked when he won’t stay at Trump hotel with team

Cleveland Cavaliers King James and a merry band of millionaire basketball players threw a professional-grade temper tantrum while in New York City to play the hometown Knicks on Wednesday.

The NBA team was booked at the Trump Soho luxury hotel in lower Manhattan, but LeBron James, who not only endorsed Hillary Clinton, but actively stumped for her, was granted a reprieve by the Cavaliers, along with several other players, to stay somewhere else, according to ABC News.

Cavaliers teammate J.R. Smith joined James at a Clinton rally in early November, and ABC News noted that teammates Richard Jefferson and Iman Shumpert expressed disappointment over Trump winning the election.

It’s not clear if these players are included among the others who declined to stay at Trump Soho.

A quick scan of social media shows that few care what James does. As one user noted, he didn’t make a difference in the election and he won’t make a difference here.
