Actress Sally Field vows to get to the bottom of why people voted for Trump, here’s her wide-eyed plan

Gidget goes all liberal loon on social media.

Sally Field, the actress most known for playing “Gidget” and “The Flying Nun,” joined Twitter after the presidential election because she wants to know “what now?”

Poor Field cannot wrap her mind around the fact that a democratic election took place and average American citizens didn’t do what Hollywood celebrities and the mainstream media told them to.

The actress told Chelsea Handler that she joined the social media platform because she wanted to understand why people voted for Donald Trump.

“I want to know what other people are thinking. I want to know why they voted for this man who does not stand for anything and has no real evidence. There is no evidence,” she told Handler. “If you look at his past, if you look at his history, there is no evidence that he can do one single thing that he says he’s going to do. Not one single thing.”

Field also lashed out at the Electoral College because, like many, she believes America is a democracy and not a Constitutional republic.

“I don’t think that all the people that voted for him are bad and horrible people, I just don’t understand it,” she said. “But that even being said…the popular vote…this is why I’m on Twitter. I don’t understand when they call this a democracy and yet the people are not getting the representation that they voted for.”

Her freakout continued on Twitter since the interview.

Need help packing?

No Sally, it isn’t “brilliant.” It is a childish temper tantrum, kind of like the one you are having.
