Now that Dems are gone, Christiane Amanpour says it’s time for ‘real reporting’ – fears for press freedom

Despite the miserable failure the mainstream media had at swaying the election to Hillary Clinton, CNN reporter Christiane Amanpour thinks it needs to ramp up its efforts to undermine the Trump administration.

I believe in being truthful, not neutral,” Amanpour told the crowd at the Committee to Protect Journalists Awards in New York on Tuesday.

The veteran journalist said she feared for press freedom in America now that the election is over.

“I never in a million years thought I would be up here on stage appealing for the freedom and safety of American journalists at home,” she said.

“We, the media, can either contribute to a more functional system or to deepening the political dysfunction. Which world do we want to leave our children?” she asked.

Perhaps she needs to read Wikileaks and see the blatant bias and corruption of a media that conspired and colluded with the Clinton campaign to hand the election to the former secretary of state.

“Let’s resolve not to be turkeys voting for Thanksgiving!” she said.

That ship sailed long ago Christiane.

She even took her plea to social media.

Many found her hypocrisy to be hilarious.

Good question.

Oh. Got it.
