Megyn Kelly’s newest ugly claim has fellow Fox News host calling her out – and it’s not O’Reilly, this time

Fox News’ Megyn Kelly has been making the rounds to plug her new book, “Settle for More,” and in a “MediaBuzz” interview aired on Sunday Kelly stood by a claim she makes in the book that certain TV hosts were in the tank for Donald Trump.

“You say that [the pro-Trump hosts] would arrange with Trump in advance to ask him certain critical questions or do certain hits on him so they would appear to have some credibility,” colleague Howard Kurtz said. “Are you suggesting that they were play-acting?

“Yes. It was acting,” Kelly replied, without missing a beat.

Saying this happened at more than one network, Kelly added that she could not name names because she learned of it through off-the-record conversations.

“But trust me, this did happen,” Kelly insisted. “And it’s been confirmed to me by more than one television executive.”

Lo and behold, fellow Fox News host Sean Hannity was quick to respond to Kelly’s assertion on Twitter, calling Kelly out with a few questions of his own… that left some social media users wondering why he was being so defensive.

Hannity responded to a social media user who noted that his “ears pricked up quickly. Little defensive don’t ya think?”
