Trey Gowdy vs Ted Cruz for Supreme Court: take our POLL here.
The war between Megyn Kelly and Bill O’Reilly is heating up to a boiling point.
On Wednesday’s “CBS This Morning” Kelly responded to Tuesday’s comments by O’Reilly that he had no interest in being disloyal to the network that pays both of them, a sentiment he echoed on his “O’Reilly Factor” later that night.
“I’m not interested in making my network look bad at all,” O’Reilly said.
It was a thinly veiled shot at Kelly’s perceived disloyalty to Fox News as she has been promoting her book, “Settle for More,” on various networks and discussing the allegations against Ailes, and Kelly fired back during her appearance.
“I believe that Roger Ailes made the company look bad,” she told Gayle King.
She said Fox honchos Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch were on board with her including the chapter on Ailes in her book.
“We were all on the same page that this was an important chapter to include, and I am proud of them that they feel as I do, which is sunlight is the best disinfectant,” she said.
This exchange of shots between the two Fox News heavyweights comes after it appeared to many that O’Reilly accused Kelly of using her feud with Donald Trump to make a name for herself.
King ended the interview by asking the most pressing question.
“And you plan to leave Fox when?” King asked.
“Oh, stop!” Kelly replied.
