‘How is what Bill Clinton did different from what Bill Cosby did?’ Leak shows Hillary Team was asking

The 20th batch of emails from Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta has been released by WikiLeaks and in one exchange about questions the media may throw at the candidate, staffers are seen talking about Bill Clinton’s controversial past with women.

And Bubba’s alleged prowling was a huge concern for Team Hillary, who wondered aloud how his actions were “different from what Bill Cosby did?”

The January 2016 email, is from Ron Klain, the former chief of staff for Vice President Joe Biden helping Clinton on debate preparation, and was sent to Podesta, Jake Sullivan, a senior policy adviser, and Karen Dunn, a former Clinton adviser who also helped with debate preparation.

The questions Klain put forth under the heading “WJC Issues” included:

a. Is his conduct relevant to your campaign?

b. You said every woman should be believed. Why not the women who accused him?

c. Will you apologize to the women who were wrongly smeared by your husband and his allies?

d. How is what Bill Clinton did different from what Bill Cosby did?

WJC, of course, representing the former president’s initials: William Jefferson Clinton.
