Supreme Court gives final blow to Obama’s case with one word

Denied.

In what appears to be the final blow to President Obama’s plan to provide amnesty to millions of illegal aliens, the Supreme Court denied the administration’s request to rehear the case that the justices split 4 – 4 in June.

The court denied the administration’s long-short request which means the June decision is final, Reuters reported.

Obama’s plan was designed to let roughly 4 million people – those who have lived illegally in the United States at least since 2010, have no criminal record and have children who are U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents – get into a program that shields them from deportation and supplies work permits.

In a July 18 filing, Obama’s Justice Department had asked the court to take a second look at the case once it had a full complement of nine justices.

The decision ends Obama’s November 2014 executive action in which the president went around the Republican congress to give the illegal aliens de facto amnesty.
