CNN laughs out loud at Tim Kaine’s defense of Hillary

When Democratic vice presidential nominee Sen. Tim Kaine attempted to convince viewers that Hillary Clinton has made herself available and open to the press, a CNN panel had only one reaction — they howled with laughter.

After announcing that it has been 275 days since Clinton has held a formal press conference, CNN’s “Inside Politics” host John King played a short clip of Kaine’s performance on CBS News, announcing, “God bless the people who get to be vice-presidential nominees, because they have to say things like this.”

The clip was from his appearance on “CBS This Morning” Thursday.

“Look, I don’t see what the massive difference is between a press conference and talking to the press everywhere you go,” the Virginia Democrat said. “She talks to the press a lot, and I’ve been with her when she’s talked to the press.

King topped a pause with, “Uh-huh,” and the panel roared with laughter.
