Victims are seething at Obama’s offensive guidance memo about flood relief – it’s a warning about RACISM

Obama’s golf game didn’t stop him from engaging in his second favorite pastime — hunting … for racism.

Flood waters have claimed lives and destroyed property in Louisiana.

And yet, in a 16 page dossier obtained by the Washington Times and issued to state and local authorities on Tuesday, the Department of Justice and the Obama administration warned recipients of federal disaster relief not to engage in “unlawful discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin (including limited English proficiency).”

The finger-wagging warning predictably angered some residents.

“[E]verywhere you look you can find black folks and white folks loving on each other, helping each other through this crisis,” journalist and Louisiana resident Rod Dreher wrote on Thursday.

Dreher called the guidance a “long bureaucratic memo” from the “Department of Justice and many other agencies of the executive branch overseen by He Who Cannot Be Troubled to Leave Martha’s Vineyard.”

The guidance referenced what Obama saw as evidence of discrimination during hurricanes Rita and Katrina that included “numerous media reports [that] showed images of African Americans stranded on roofs in New Orleans.”

“These images exposed significant inequalities in access to emergency response and recovery efforts,” the guidance read.

Dreher was not the only resident perturbed by the letter.

He quoted an email from a local man named Jimmy who was also enraged.

Not many things get me seething, but this does. The narrative of this Administration as dividers instead of uniters is real. Look no further than this “guidance” press release telling us in the middle of it to be sure not to be racist, y’all. Meanwhile, our President enjoys golfing and Martha’s Vineyard and sunny skies. No visits, not even that reviled Bush flyover. Just politically motivated, racially laced memos. Meanwhile, we’ll keep on keeping on. Thanks, Obama.

And as social media wondered where the heck Hillary Clinton was and everyone knew where President Obama was, Donald Trump brought a semi full of supplies to the state and called on the president to put his golf clubs away and come to Louisiana.

The White House answered that call by announcing the president would visit the region, right after his vacation was over. In the meantime, as Louisiana’s flood victims swim for their lives, they can rest assured that Obama is watching with his social justice warrior eyes to make certain that racial discrimination is not afoot.
