Bill says his wife is blameless, but you are stupid; email classifications are ‘too complicated to explain’

Former President Bill Clinton doesn’t have much faith in the American people’s ability to decipher a “load of bull” … which could explain a lot.

Speaking at an event in Las Vegas on Friday, Clinton defended wife Hillary, saying she’s telling the truth about her emails but not all Americans can grasp this because government classification issues are “too complicated to explain to people,” according to The Daily Caller.

Clinton’s response was part of a lengthy response to being asked why his wife lied about her emails.

“This is the biggest load of bull I’ve ever heard,” he said while launching into the classic Clinton defense mode of playing the victim and blaming others.

“First of all, the FBI director said when he testified before Congress, he had to amend his previous day’s statement that she had never received any emails that are classified,” he said. “They saw two little notes with a ‘c’ on it.”

Of course, as the Daily Caller noted, Clinton cherry-picked his response, ignoring the unfavorable things FBI Director James Comey said about Hillary, such as her use of a private email server being “extremely careless.” He also acknowledged that she sent or received more than 100 emails that were determined to contain classified information at the time the emails were originated.

Clinton threw Secretary of State John Kerry under the bus while casting Hillary as the real victim here, saying Kerry also used a personal email account up until last year.

“She should have known that a different set of rules would apply to her,” he bemoaned.
