CNN pours on bad reporting by saying Secret Service met with Trump after 2A remark

Secret Service agents questioning Donald Trump about a perceived threat to Hillary Clinton? It didn’t happen.

Donald Trump hit back hard Wednesday against what he said are erroneous reports that agents met with him to discuss remarks he made that Second Amendment voters could stop Hillary Clinton.

CNN reported Wednesday that Secret Service agents with the Republican presidential nominee to discuss his comments, which were interpreted by some as inciting violence.

‘Now cut off my mic!’ Bongino refuses to be bullied by Don Lemon over Trump, 2nd Amendment – HEATED!

“There has been more than one conversation” CNN reported a Secret Service official told them.

Trump has maintained that his statement was meant to encourage voters who care about the Second Amendment to vote for him.

“What we’re talking about is political power, there’s tremendous political power to save the Second Amendment, tremendous,” he told Fox News on Wednesday. “You look at the power they have in terms of votes and that’s what I was referring to. Obviously that’s what I was referring to and everybody knows it.”
