Comey solidifies Trump’s ‘rigged system’ argument with damning quote about Hillary avoiding indictment

GOP nominee Donald Trump is continuing to call the rule of federal law as it relates to Hillary Clinton a “rigged system” after FBI Director James Comey announced he would not recommend criminal charges against the former Secretary of State.

Here’s what Trump tweeted out right after Comey’s announcement:

And this one quote from Comey speaks for itself and seems to prove Trump’s point that Clinton is above the law.

Check out the most telling statement in Comey’s address:

“To be clear,” Comey begins. “This is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences.”

Is this some sort of royalty privilege we’re implementing now?

Comey also admitted in his statement on the Clinton email scandal that as Secretary of State, Clinton lied about not sending classified and top secret emails on an unsecure, private email server.

His address also made clear that Clinton and her staff were “extremely careless” with her handling of classified intelligence during her tenure.
