Britain’s top-search on Google after its historic ‘Brexit’ vote could not be more hilarious

After the British people voted to cast off the shackles of the European Union, something strange happened.

Yes, the markets tumbled and leftists charged that the vote was all about xenophobia, but those things were predictable.

What was surprising was the questions the people of the United Kingdom were Googling after the historic vote.

According to Google Trends the number one question on the EU from UK searchers was “What does it mean to leave the EU?”

Most shocking of all was the second most popular question, “What is the EU?”

That might have been something you wanted to search before the vote that will forever change the trajectory of your nation.

It would be as if the Founding Fathers won the Revolutionary War and then started asking “What does leaving Britain mean and, for that matter, what is Britain anyway?”
