Newly leaked documents from a Russian hacker reveal that Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt never had a chance against Hillary Clinton in the democratic primary.
A hacker who identifies himself as ‘Guficer 2.0’ leaked the DNC documents, which apparently prove that Clinton was conspiring with the DNC as early as May 26, 2015, the same day Sanders launched his presidential bid, according to the Washington Examiner.
But, it’s not just the DNC that Clinton was conspiring with in 2015. The Clinton campaign was already working hand-in-hand with the media.
Mainstream media outlets apparently conceived a plan in which Clinton’s negatives would be downplayed in the press and any GOP nominee would be discredited.
“Reporter Outreach: Working through the DNC and others, we should use background briefings, prep with reporters for interviews with GOP candidates, off-the-record conversations and oppo pitches to help pitch stories with no fingerprints and utilize reporters to drive a message,” a leaked document from the DNC stated.
“Our goals in the coming months will be to frame the Republican field and the eventual nominee early and to provide a contrast between the GOP field and HRC,” the same DNC document stated. “Over the long-term, these efforts will be aimed at getting us the best match-up in the general election, and weakening the eventual nominee through the course of the primary.”
The damaging document leak comes at the end of a heated democratic primary process, where Sanders and Clinton have continued fighting up until the party’s national convention.
DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz claimed months ago that there was “no shred of evidence” that the DNC was actively working with Clinton to make her the party’s nominee, though these documents now prove that false.
