A special announcement from Fox News Channel:

Just in time to kick off the 2016 Republican and Democrat conventions.

FOX News Channel’s (FNC) top-rated ensemble show The Five (weekdays 5PM/ET) will help kick-off the channel’s Republican and Democratic convention coverage with a two-week road trip leaving from New York on July 15, 2016.  Co-hosts Eric Bolling, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Greg Gutfeld, Dana Perino and Juan Williams will travel to Cleveland, Ohio and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, while making stops at local hot spots along the way and welcoming various newsmakers and guests on board. The road trip also marks the celebration of the program’s five-year anniversary on FNC, having debuted on July 11, 2011.

The Five’s convention bus will be adorned with portraits of all five of the co-hosts as they travel throughout the country. Viewers can follow along with The Five’s road trip adventures by searching the hashtags #RoadtoCleveland and #RoadtoPhilly on social media and the co-hosts will use Facebook Live to capture behind the scenes moments on the bus. Additionally, the group will do live hits from the road across all of FNC’s programming and additional FOX News platforms.front of bus

The Five originated as a replacement program for Glenn Beck’s 5PM hour and has since become an FNC staple. Averaging 2.3 million in total viewers and 362,000 in the key 25-54 demographic, the program has been number one in its time-slot for nearly 60 consecutive months, according to Nielsen Media Research. Since its launch, The Five has grown 66% in total viewers and 10% in the advertiser friendly 25-54 demographic. Outpacing the competition combined in both viewers and the key demo, The Five is also the top-rated show in total viewers in all of basic cable at 5PM/ET.

FOX News Channel (FNC) is a 24-hour all-encompassing news service dedicated to delivering breaking news as well as political and business news.  A top five cable network, FNC has been the most-watched news channel in the country for more than 14 years and according to a Suffolk University/USA Today poll, is the most trusted television news source in the country. Owned by 21st Century Fox, FNC is available in more than 90 million homes and dominates the cable news landscape, routinely notching the top ten programs in the genre.
