This is sort of embarrassing, in comparison . . .

Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton’s donations to US military veterans have come to light a day after GOP nominee Donald Trump was accosted by the media for only donating $5.6 million to veterans.

Turns out, Clinton donated much, much less.

The Clinton’s gave veterans roughly $70,000 through their personal account at the Clinton Foundation, according to a Breitbart News report.

Despite being worth millions, the Clintons gave veterans only $25,000 in 2009, $20,000 in 2010, $5,000 in 2011, $15,000 in 2012 and $5,000 in 2014 via the Clinton Foundation.

Yesterday, Trump told the media to investigate how much money in recent donations Clinton had given to veterans after being assailed by reporters for taking months to vet military veterans organizations before dolling out the $5.6 million he had raised.

Even more ironic, Clinton organized protesters outside of Trump Tower a week ago holding signs reading “Veteran Against Trump” and “Heads of State Don’t Lead With Hate,” according to a Daily Beast report.
