In the latest edition of “Watters’ World,” Fox News correspondent Jesse Watters quizzed the folks about why many Americans are off on Monday, which is Memorial Day.

And while Watters got a few favorable answers to the inquiry, when he widened the scope and began asking about previous American wars, to include the Revolutionary War and the Civil War, the results were not as good.

Watters even struggled to get a correct answer when he asked who America fought in the Vietnam War.

“Why are you laughing at me?” asked one person who answered France.

Strangely, France was named several times,  prompting host Bill O’Reilly to say: “The poor French – they got hammered.”
