In Los Angeles to attend a private fundraiser, Donald Trump taped a guest appearance Wednesday on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” where the presumptive Republican presidential nominee announced he’d be willing to debate Democratic rival Bernie Sanders.

Noting that Hillary Clinton declined to debate Sanders before the California primary on June 7, Kimmel hit Trump with a question from Sanders on whether the presumptive GOP nominee is willing to debate him.

“Yes, I am,” Trump quickly replied. “How much is he going to pay me?”

The real estate tycoon promised that a Trump-Sanders debate “would have such high ratings” and said he would take that money and give it to a “worthy charity.”

“If he paid a sum toward charity I would love to do that,” Trump said of Sanders.

Trump said he “never had the privilege” of meeting the senator from Vermont, but declared that the men have at least one thing in common in reference to the Democratic Party primary process.

“I think it’s unfair what’s happening to Bernie Sanders,” Trump said, adding that “the system is rigged against him like it was against me.”

Either way, Trump was confident that he would defeat Sanders in a head-to-head match up.

“Well, I actually think Bernie would be easier to beat, even though he shows up a little bit better in the polls,” he told Kimmel. “I may be wrong.”

With time and money running out, Sanders was quick to jump on the opportunity, taking to social media within minutes of Trump agreeing to debate him to accept the offer.

“Game on. I look forward to debating Donald Trump in California before the June 7 primary,” he posted on Twitter:
