“It is absolutely disgraceful…”
Donald Trump called out the media in a video message on Instagram for what he says is “dishonest”reporting on his donations to a number of US military veterans organizations.
“I raised almost $6 million for the veterans, including putting up almost $1 million of my own money. I had no obligation to do anything or to do so,” Trump said. “And I get nothing but bad press from the dishonest media.”
Trump brought up the fact that the media has barely mentioned the scandal surrounding Bill and Hillary’s ‘the Clinton Foundation,’ which has been portrayed as a slush fund for the family’s wealth.
“It is absolutely disgraceful,” Trump continued. “Why don’t they look into the Clinton Foundation if they want to see dishonesty?”
Overall, the media’s three biggest networks (ABC, NBC, CBS) have dedicated less than 5 minutes to talking about the scandals around the Clinton Foundation in 2016, a Newsbusters investigation found.
