It’s all about November.

After Sen. Ted Cruz announced he was suspending his bid for the Republican presidential nomination, GOP national Chairman Reince Priebus urged fellow Republicans to support Donald Trump, the “presumptive nominee.”

From this point forward all efforts should be focused on defeating the Democratic presumptive nominee — former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

He tweeted:

Not everyone will be easily convinced, however, as these reply-tweets suggest.

But it’s still early in the game — November is six months away. With any luck, we may see unity by then.

Cruz suspended his campaign after losing Indiana to Trump, a state that former House Speaker Newt Gingrich referred to as the Texas firebrand’s “last stand.”

Ohio Gov. John Kasich is remaining in the race, despite having no clear path to the nomination.
