Hillary was just seriously compared to Jesus Christ, but big surprise is the group that did it

When liberals are not busy trying to remove Jesus Christ from the public square, they’re preoccupied with identifying the next Messiah from within their ranks.

While introducing keynote speaker Hillary Clinton at the annual NAACP Fight for Freedom Fund dinner on Sunday, Detroit branch president Rev. Wendell Anthony compared the likely Democratic presidential nominee to Jesus Christ.

Citing scripture, Anthony likened Clinton’s accomplishments to the Son of God healing the crippled and giving the blind sight.

Detroit Free Press’s Niraj Warikoo reported on social media:

Matthew 11:5 – The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

 

Interestingly, all the syrupy praise proved to be too much for the reporter, who posted the follow remark before thinking twice and deleting it — perhaps she was reminded that on the left, dissent is not allowed:
