Fox News’ Chris Wallace missed a critical point on Sunday when he set out to see if transgendered people in bathrooms is really a public safety issue.

Wallace pointed out to his panel, that included conservative writer Ben Domenech and liberal Fox News regular Juan Williams, that the supposedly nonpartisan Politifact found no instances of people who identify as transgender attacking anyone in a bathroom.

Domenech correctly argued that most people aren’t concerned about the people who actually believe they are transgendered but are concerned about perverts and sex offenders using the new “bathroom laws” as cover for their deviance.

Williams called it a weak issue and agreed with Charles Krauthammer and Wallace that it was “a solution in search of a problem.”
