‘Divergent’ actress touts Bernie supporter with $226K in student loans – she should have stuck to acting

Actress Shailene Woodley may not have realized it, but she captured the very essence of why so many young people back Bernie Sanders … and yes, it has to do with free stuff.

The “Divergent” star, and avid Sanders supporter, recorded a video of a young Sanders voter who claimed she has accrued $226,000 in student loan debt in the pursuit of a degree in speech pathology.

For many, student loans have become a convenient alternative to actually getting a job to support their preferred lifestyle. It is only when the bill comes due that they lose their collective minds … or turn to a self-avowed Democratic Socialist like Sanders who promises free college education for all.

Retroactively applied, of course!

The reaction on social media seemed to center around a common theme: Why should others be forced to pay for your poor choices?

That and the fact that the Democratic Party has been peddling “free” stuff in exchange for votes for years.
