Univision plays video of Benghazi victim’s mother; Hillary sinks lower than pond scum in response

She called the mother of a Benghazi victim a liar on national TV.

On Wednesday’s Univision Democratic presidential debate, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was asked about a statement made by Patricia Smith, mother of Benghazi victim Sean Smith, who said that Clinton had lied to her about what caused the attack on Benghazi.

This question came on the heels of questions about her email scandal, and the audience was clearly displeased — the moment moderator Jorge Ramos mentioned the word “Benghazi” the crowd loudly booed.

After claiming sympathy for the families of all four Benghazi victims, she said Smith was wrong in her recollection.

“But she’s wrong,” Clinton said. “She’s absolutely wrong.”

As Ramos noted in his question, other family members of Benghazi victims said the same thing. Folks on social media were astounded.

Clinton admitted to George Stephanopoulos in December that she’d told conflicting statements on what led to the attack on the American diplomatic compound in Benghazi. She blamed it on “the fog of war.”

“This was a fast-moving series of events in the fog of war, and I think most Americans understand.”
