Joe Biden tries to ‘splain his embarrassing 1992 SCOTUS nomination video and it’s hilarious

Vice President Joe Biden launched into some damage control after a 1992 video of him was released in which he urged the president not to nominate a Supreme Court justice until after an election, should it be necessary.

Biden, who was a senator at the time, said that “action on a Supreme Court nomination must be put off until after the election campaign is over.”

On Monday, Biden tweeted that his position remained the same.

The vice president then said his statement was “not an accurate description of my views on the subject.”

Twitter users were quick to call Biden out.
