See why toddler’s heart-melting hug of a stranger went viral

In one touching moment, a toddler captured the hearts of millions of viewers as she hugged a total stranger in a supermarket.

Joey, a 16-month-old from Little Rock, Arkansas was filmed by her mother at a local supermarket, greeting everyone she passed with a wave. The video was posted to the Facebook page, “Love What Matters” with the caption: “This is Joey. She is 16-months-old and she spreads joy wherever she goes!”

And the toddler did indeed spread joy, as she is seen in the 43-second video sporting a pacifier in her mouth and a ready wave for all. The friendly greetings were all returned, but it was the extra long hug she shared with one woman by the meat counter that melted hearts.

The video has been viewed more than 40 million times on Facebook.
