Ted Cruz’s campaign just removed an ad from circulation after discovering one of the actresses is a porn star.
It had to be particularly embarrassing for the Texas senator who is running a campaign designed to appeal to Evangelical Christians.
The actress, Amy Lindsay, has appeared in numerous soft-core porn movies including Kinky Sex Club, Sex Sent Me to the ER, Animal Lust, Insatiable Obsession and more.
The advertisement was called “Conservatives Anonymous” and featured voters who had regrets after voting for Marco Rubio.
“Maybe you should vote for more than just a pretty face next time,” the beautiful blonde Lindsay said.

Cruz campaign national press secretary Catherine Frazier gave the following statement to the Daily Caller who originally broke the story.
“The actress responded to an open casting call. She passed her audition and got the job. Unfortunately, she was not vetted by the casting company,” she said. “Had the campaign known of her full filmography, we obviously would not have let her appear in the ad. The campaign is taking the ad down and will replace it with a different commercial.”
Lindsay responded to the controversy in an interview with BuzzFeed on Thursday where she described herself as a Christian and a conservative Republican deciding between Cruz and Donald Trump.
