The legal right to take the life of an unborn baby is so important to some on the left that they would be willing to forgive a politician anything as long as they vote to keep abortion legal.
On ABC’s “The View” Tuesday, co-host Joy Behar indicated she’d even be willing to forgive rape and murder as long as a politicians voted for “women’s rights.”
After her co-host Paula Faris reminded Behar, along with the panel, of the many women who have accused former President Bill Clinton of rape, sexual harassment or sexual assault, Behar made it clear that she didn’t really care.
“Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Willey. They say that he [Clinton] either exposed himself to them, raped them or groped them,” Faris said.
“Republicans have voted against the Violence Against Women Act,” Behar responded. “Now that, to me, is more important than anything that Bill Clinton did or didn’t do because it’s what [Hillary’s] going to vote for.”
Then Behar invoked the name of Ted Kennedy.
“Teddy Kennedy. Remember Chappaquiddick? I mean, a girl drowns and he abandons her and she drowned and women still voted for Teddy Kennedy. Why? Because he voted for women’s rights,” Behar said. “That’s why. That’s the bottom line of it in my opinion. I mean, I don’t like either one of them, to tell you the truth, Teddy or Bill. They’re both dogs as far as I’m concerned. But I still will vote for Bill Clinton because he votes in my favor.”
