A Florida sheriff fired off what could be interpreted as a dramatic rebuttal to the Obama administration’s lackadaisical, politically correct response to terror attacks within our borders and his message was crystal clear.
Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey posted the video to his Facebook page with the message entirely in caps, “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!! IT’S TIME TO SAY WHAT NEEDS TO BE SAID TO PROTECT OUR CITIZENS!!”
He advised legally armed citizens to avoid taking on “a vigilante role,” but to be “mentally and physically prepared to respond to an attack” until law enforcement officers arrive.
“Let there be no mistake in what I’m about to say,” Ivey said in the nearly seven-minute video. “The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. If you are a person who is legally licensed to carry a firearm, now is a time more than ever to realize that you and you alone very well might be the first line of defense for you [and] your family.”
