‘Dry run?’ DC transit police on lookout for 4 men engaged in ‘suspicious activity’ at Pentagon station

Amid heated debate in America over taking in Syrian refugees, centered around concerns that Islamic extremists may slip into the country, the Islamic State announced this week that Washington, D.C., will be the sight of a future attack.

“We swear that we will strike America at its center in Washington,” said a man identified as Al Ghareeb in a video that’s being attributed to ISIS.

The video was released on Monday on a website ISIS uses to post messages.

Right on cue, Emily Miller, a reporter for FOX5 News, posted this message Wednesday on social media alerting followers to “be on the lookout” for four Middle Eastern-looking men seen inside the Pentagon Metro Station in the nation’s capitol.

It’s not clear what the four men are suspected of doing, but the alert is requesting assistance in efforts ‘to identify the above pictured individuals in reference to suspicious activity observed at the station.”

Muslim’s video message to ISIS goes viral: ‘If you
don’t like this country, why the f**k do you come?’

In the aftermath of the attack in Paris at the hands of Islamic extremists that killed at least 132 people, and with reports of eight Syrians being apprehended this week at the Texas border with Mexico and five Syrians detained in Honduras, suffice it to say that Americans are on edge.

The reaction on social media was a toss up between a heavy dose of snark and legitimate concern. Here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter:

Editor’s Note: BPR is reporting the BOLO and social media’s reaction to the BOLO. In no way are we suggesting without evidence that these men have done anything wrong.
