coach 1Coach Joe Kennedy, a Washington state high school football coach, has been stripped of his rights and his job because of his religious beliefs, but he’s not going down without a fight.

Kennedy, in trouble for refusing to stop voluntary post-game prayers on the 50-yard line, was sidelined for Thursday’s end-of-season senior game.

His “painful” punishment took away his ability to interact with the team he says he’s coached for nearly eight years.

Liberty Institute is helping fight the district’s decision to put Kennedy on paid administrative leave and keep him off the field.
