Republican presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson thinks he has a good idea of why the liberal mainstream media keep attacking him.

“I think it’s the fact that I simply won’t submit to their nonsense,” Carson said.

The world renowned neurosurgeon turned presidential candidate said secular progressives are annoyed because he won’t act and talk the way they want.

“How dare someone like me actually think for themselves,” Carson said Monday, appearing on Fox News’ “The O’Reilly Factor.”

He believes his race may play a factor.

“The left wing does have standard practice for black people and you’re not supposed to wander away from that or you’re an Uncle Tom, you’re a traitor, you’re all kinds of names that they call you,” Carson said. “They’re like a fly that’s been sprayed with Raid, you know? They’re backs spinning around. They’re desperate.”
