Hot-head Geraldo Rivera lost his temper again, this time unloading on fellow Fox News host Eric Bolling.
Things got heated when Rivera defended President Obama’s Iran nuclear deal on “The Five” Monday.
“The Persians I know all want to make money and live in southern California,” he said, attempting to distance them from Ayatollah Khamenei who led shouts of “Death to America.”
Bolling wasn’t having any of it, so Rivera took another tack, bringing up the Vincennes downing of Iranian passenger flight 655. “There’s plenty of reasons for the Iranians to have a beef against us.”
Incredulous, Bolling challenged Rivera, “You’re not suggesting we shot down the airliner on purpose.”
His countenance changing, Rivera’s anger boiled over into an attack, “Why do you say something stupid like that?”
“That’s like stupid! You said that to make me look stupid and I don’t like it!” he yelled, jaw clenched, his finger shoved in Bolling’s face. “I don’t like it!”
Maintaining his own calm, Bolling again asked Rivera if he agreed the jetliner was shot down by accident. “Of course it was an accident,” Rivera replied.
Bolling asked, “Was it an accident when Iranian money was probably funneled into 19 Saudi terrorists that flew airplanes into the World Trade Center?” Visibly exasperated, Rivera remained silent.
“Was that an accident?” Bolling asked again, as Rivera used his palm to answer in a “talk to the hand” gesture.
