Bravo, Miss South Carolina! Instant favorite after rocking 2nd Amendment question

Though she did not win the 2015 Miss America pageant, Miss South Carolina Daja Dial won the hearts of Second Amendment lovers when she rocked a question regarding gun violence and assault rifles.

After winning the swimsuit competition earlier in the week, Miss South Carolina advanced to the Top 7 Sunday night and was asked if she supported a ban on assault rifles during a Q & A segment.

To the chagrin of gun-grabbing liberals everywhere, Dial knocked it out of the park:

The reaction on social media to the answer was immediate, with some suggesting Dial’s response may have robbed her of any chance of winning the pageant. Either way, she succeeded in adding to her fan base.
