Trump says he’ll change name of mountain BACK; megalomaniac Obama can stick it

While some Alaskans may be happy with President Obama’s renaming of Mount McKinley back to its original name of Denali, others, including Republican presidential candidates Donald Trump and Ted Cruz, are incensed.

An angry Ted Cruz, appearing on the Hugh Hewitt show, said the move was “the latest manifestation of the megalomaniacal, imperial presidency that we have seen for six and a half years. This administration has been the most lawless administration we’ve ever seen.”

Cruz pointed out that the proper way to change the name of a mountain is to go to Congress, and cited current legislation before Congress to make the name change that has not yet passed, “but he cannot be bothered with constitutional niceties like actually passing legislation.”

Trump was more succinct, sending out a tweet vowing to change the name back to McKinley and calling the move a “great insult to Ohio,” the state where President William McKinley was born.

People seized on Trump’s tweet to argue about it.
