Sprinklers! Instant karma strikes high fashion, big money Hillary fundraiser

Anyone who has been following the career of Hillary Clinton knows she’s all wet, but now so are her supporters.

Well, 200 of them anyway.

Clinton, the front-runner for the Democrat nomination in the 2016 presidential race, had just been introduced to speak at the $38 million home of big name fashion designer Tory Burch when all of a sudden karma struck, the New York Post’s Page Six reported.

The sprinklers went off drenching the well-coiffed crowd.

“It was really very funny. Tory’s home is gorgeous … Everything was perfect. There were so many impeccably turned-out fashion people there. Anna Wintour [the editor-in-chief of American Vogue] looked like she could have been cut out of her own magazine: beautiful summer dress, not a hair out of place,” one guest told the Post.

“All of a sudden the sprinkler system went off, and those who were on the lawn got soaked. You could hear some people screaming,” the source said.

“These perfect Hamptons people can withstand 100 percent humidity, but a really good sprinkler system did the trick to ruin their hair.”

Other drenched guests included Martha Stewart, who could have been on hand to give Clinton some advice about how to handle jail, fashion designer Donna Karen, and Richard Perry, a hedge fund manager who owns a controlling interest in Barney’s New York, a luxury department store.
